These are a few more photos from February's visit - all around Malad Creek, to the north of Mumbai.

Fisherfolk near Madh

 

The village of Madh is within the great urban sprawl of Mumbai, and the buildings of one of Mumbai's suburbs appear in the background.  The waterway is Malad Creek.  You'll see who was waiting to the sort the fish: the women, the birds, and a snake.  The pink stuff around the snake is the catch, but I don't know what it's called.

GOING MADH!

Madh is a village to the north of Mumbai, on the coast of the Arabian Sea.  The hotel we stayed in is nearby.  Here are a few of the views from a morning there.
